DSTV problem

Was watching footie and suddenly this menu pops up saying a download will begin in 30 seconds. The timer counts down and the feed comes back only to disappear again with the menu reappearing

Happened to me too. Missed 30 minutes of the game and it finally came back with 1 minute to go. Sport is the only reason I keep crappy DSTV around and now this

Should've just let it download the update automatically at 2am some morning. Now DStv forced the download upon those that did not get the update yet.

Guys - go into the menu and set Software updates to NEVER and tell them to leave you alone.

Or just set the update time to like 3:00 am - that's if you want them to control you.

Mine is set to 2am - it also popped up at around 9pm last night... dumbasses at DSTV hard at work again.

guys - mine was doing this too - i just forced the update by going to menu - advanced (9949) - Equipment Settings - upgrade, press thh red button .

This actually does the upgrade. You wont get the message anymore.

That does not work. I also experienced the updates last night. The updates seem to come down whenever they feel like it and not 4am like I set it. That menu function is useless if you ask me.
