I have a SD PVR and it's still buggered

Has anyone had a problem with their remote control not working properly? My remote seems to work erratically, sometimes not at all, other times it works perfectly. Brand new decoder, brand new remote, brand new batteries ...

I have a simular problem, my one remote is fine, the other one is extremely slow. I hold the scroll button in it takes about 1 sec per option it scrolls through. I just always though my daughter dropped it to much!

Yea mine was also down this morning .... It better be on later... I cant seem to get though to DSTV either....

I wish they could actually launch a stable decoder....

What happened to Pace, Samsung ens. decoder models?? Now you only get Multichoice decoders..
My dad had a Samsung and it was a great decoder... at the time it was years before the other decoders ...

Apparently some technical glitch. No official word from MC yet - just some overloaded callcentres. Maybe it is Oom Paul's ghost punishing us for not celebrating his birthday anymore.

I work odd hours, and only enjoy my DStV from about 1 am in the morning. This morning, they decided to switch it off from 2 AM onwards. I thought I had a problem, went downstairs , and saw the second decoder off as well, called the call center, no help. Did the whole reboot thingy, just got a message Error 16, account suspended.

Thanks for stuffing up my 2 or 3 hours a day I get to watch DSTV. CanI get a refund for lost veiwing?? Dont think so,

Ours has been absolutely problem free for over a week and today? Off once this arvo and again about 10 minutes ago with an almighty thunderous whoosh!

Hi, I am having a problem with my remote being erratic. Pressing the volume button can change a channel, the alt channel changer can put dstv onto the music channels rather than the alternative channel.

when roaming through the menu the arrow keys select channels, like the ok button would.

and this all happens on channel 1A, on our other TV 2A works fine. So Really it is not the remote. how do I fix this

i have the same problem with the remotes... the HD remote often doubles up commands... instead of moving one place to the right in the EPG it moves two.. or the numbers double up too... HIGHLY frustrating... i called them up and spoke to a lady there who just told me that i need to buy an new remote... have you seen the frikkin price of those things? now that is a crock of ***** !!

i used the TV2 ( after changing which tv it controlled ) remote and the decoder still did the same. so how could it be the Remote? silly woman...

I find that auto tuning sometimes happens up to 5 minutes too late. This is annoying if you have the VCR set to record something at a given time.
