DSTV PVR Hard disc failure

my dstv pvr's hard disc went bye-bye....

if i want to replace the hard disc up to which size can i use?

it currently have a 250GB hitachi installed.

I remember reading some posts on the dstv forums a while back where guys had successfully upgraded their sd pvr's to 750gig ide drives. The timeshift buffer was drastically increased as well as the amount of hours for recorded content.
