Hi all. Hope someone out there can help!

We recently bought a DSTV PVR decoder. It worked perfectly for the first few weeks, but suddenly has decided to go on strike. The TV Guide does not show any programs in the future.

I went to Multichoice offices today, and they swopped the PVR decoder for a new one. I've now got home and setup the new decoder...but same thing is happening. Could it be an installation problem?

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know, as I've scanned, reset, unplugged and exchanged to death... :)

Can you not remember the thread you posted in 5 mins ago....
Let me take a flyer, it shows the next 2 programs but nothing after that

Do you have a PVR subscription. I had this problem when I first got my PVR - everything appears to work and then slowly features stop working because my PVR Subscription was not loaded properly.

Not, on the PVR you see 3 programs, 1 running and then the next 2 after, if you scroll down it will show you everything for the next 24 hours but only 3 at a time.

I think he is talking about the TV guide.

To view the guide you press TV Guide or just press left or right on the remote without having the info bar open.

I realise that Pitbull, but the first 2 lines of program data (current program + next) come with the live TV feed. The data from line 3 onwards + the rest of the TV guide are sourced via a separate LNB feed on the rear of the decoder, so if this cable has a problem then you will only see the first 2 lines
The fact that 3 display on the screen at a time is irrelevant

This only relates to pausing, recording, rewinding etc, nothing to do with the TV guide data
