I hate DSTV. When you cancel a program you can at least give notice to people:sick: :sick:
 
This is a regular issue with DSTV. Top gear just vanished, and then shows start and aren't advertised anywhere. If you don't accidentally stumble onto it you'll never know its there. Yet another fail for SA. GOD i miss Sky+
 
It's gotten so bad that they have movies on that don't even appear in the Dish magazine .... how retarded are you that you don't even list all the months movies ffs :mad:
 
Unfortunately monopolies tend to make up there own rules, and DSTV is too much of a money making scam to pay for the rights to newer programs thats why they re-run so many.
 
Oh and there is not much you can do. Hope we something new to subscribe too........
 
What got cancelled?

How much notice should they give you? 4 - 8 episodes worth? A months notice?

How should they give notice? An letter with your monthly statement/dish magazine for all the shows they going to cancel? Or a on screen cancellation message at the bottom of the show in the last 5 episodes?

Sometimes they cancel shows in the states - should they also give notice about those, or if those are cancelled there, then its assumed the season has ended, and its done no need for a cancellation notice?

Trying to work out how this is going to work?

did the soap you watch get cancelled or the channel?
 
DTSV sucks! We should all cancel our subscriptions and not give them notice and watch SABC1 - its the nations most watched channel and its free!

You mean Go!, it's impending doom was debated at length from more than a month ago in the multimedia section.
maybe the folks there learnt it from the dstv forums.
 
From the moment they got away with cancelling SciFi things have been going downhill.
