I have been away fro a few weeks, but when I got back I found that the ALT and ARC buttons no longer worked when using Catch Up on my Explora 3B's. The buttons are not working on my main and 2nd decoders.

The ALT button to show me what was downloaded and the ARC button to remove series from my Watchlist.

Anybody else had this issue? Is it a software glitch? As usual the call center was a total waste of time. I had already rebooted both decoders, made no difference.

All the buttons that you use a lot will eventually start giving problems. The solution is a good cleaning of the remote. The pad and the contact points on the CB. Surgical alcohol and a cotton bud are all you need.

Both remotes are brand new, so not the buttons being worn out or sticky. The decoder does not react to the button input. They used to, but not now.

@Geoff.D buttons work outside of CU, just not in CU. Seems our friends at MC has broken something. I have 2 Explora 2As
That's what I think to. If I press Catch Up or Home button, I get the same menu. Something is very wrong and it is very annoying because nobody at MC seems to know anything about it.

Dstv is now limiting the amount of active buttons on the remote. Multiple button functionality is a separate subscription @ R49 p/m.

This is not a remote issue, this is a software bug. Many people are reporting it. DSTV redponded to ne to say they have escalated to their content team.
