DSTV Remote Problem

Hi everybody

I have a problem with my dstv remote.I tried to set it to control my tv,amp and dvd player using the A,B,C,D fuction.Now it just doesnt control the amp,tv and dvd it worked for a while now it just messes up.When you try and say control the amp(make volume louder) it changes the channel on the TV.

Is There any way to reset the remote to the original factory settings.

It is the remote that comes with the HD PVR 2P it is the A3 UEI remote

To reset the mode (ie, A, B, C or D) make sure the mode you want to reset is on the dial, then keep shift down until you get the 3 blinks, then just press the red button
