I'm sure this has been covered before, but the folks are slightly behind the times, so it's just become a problem today.
They've got a dual view SD PVR hooked up to a new LG full HD TV via RCAs. That's basically the only option available. Predictably, the picture is up to ****, and there's also a lip-sync problem. I've got an oooolde Pace 4 tuner HDPVR from a few years ago, but based on the last software I used, I wouldn't inflict that on my worst enemy. What are my options?
Has the Pace software been fixed? Is it usable?
Will an HDPVR via HDMI fix the SD picture quality and lip-sync issues?
If yes, what are the HDPVR options these days?
Yes, I know DSTV should be answering these questions, given that it's their paid for service on their paid for hardware, but they just don't give a ****. I called and hung up after hearing that I was number 105 862 456 in the queue, so I'm asking here. Thanks.
Edit: Are there any HD channels on the second most expensive bouquet?
Edit edit: Any ideas on how to connect two CCTV cameras to this TV. It's only got one AV in.
