Good afternoon

I have been using the old silver decoder so yesterday it died on me. So went to PEP store got the HD decoder. Called multichoice the paired the smart card with the decoder. Few channels were playing others were giving me code E48-32. Called multichoice this afternoon the say it's signal all the cables are well connected. I have done everything possible reset, my last option is to call the installer.

He will need R300 I thought maybe before I call him someone here knows something that I can do to fix this issue.

My old decoder is playing now WTF I wonder if multichoice will agree to pair in my old decoder.

I end up calling installer he replaced the eye, I paid R250 installation and R200 for the new eye to get HD channels.

DSTV Eye is like 90 bucks and wont affect your signal its to change channels from another room?
for 250 sounds like he just replaced your LNB and no you didn't need a special one to get HD channels = for that price sounds like he just aligned your dish and if he ut a new lnb probably the a single lnb like you had before,
