DSTV Software Update

On Thursday or Friday last week a notice popped onto my screen regarding a software update for my HD PVR. The update ran for about 20 minutes.

Does anybody know what was updated? I already have the update for series recording etc.

What machine are you using. (SD PVR. PACE Or UEC PVR or HD PVR 2p) which one perhaps, we might try clarify the matter.

Mainly updated the SS active popping up on its own, nothing added

I have the PACE HDPVR .. The update was supposed to fix several annoyances. Read here for more: http://forum.dstv.com/showthread.php?t=7081

I find that it continuously re-sets many of my settings under "Personalise" ... e.g. I set the default language to "English - original" ... it continually reverts to "English-Family" Also I set the upscaling setting to 720p... it now resets to 1080i

There's a few other settings that Multichoice in its wisdom, decides that I need, other than those I have selected.

Why the hell provide the user with setting choices, and then MC just changes them all back?
