Hi All
In my lounge, my Sony Bravia is connected to my decoder via HDMI cable.
I moved the TV to the bedroom where it's connected to DSTV via Co-Ax.
Do I need to change the TV to analogue mode now?

Thanks

You have to tune the channel, go old school.

Wait, I'm not clear.
By co-axial, you are referring to the single aerial cable ?
Or the rca (white and red for audio and maybe yellow for video) ?

Yep - The single aerial cable, not the rca (white and red for audio and maybe yellow for video).

Plug in the aerial cable and get the tuner to auto tune. Then you can move the channels around in your own order.

Thank you

Yes. Coax isn't analogue per se, but your decoder doesn't have digital output on the rf. Surely you could have figured this out in about a minute by changing to analogue and trying to tune it to the decoder?

I was just trying to figure out whether or not switching was necessary or if there was a way to get it working without switching the TV to analogue?

Your other option is to plug in your rca cables into the tv.

Not sure what you mean by switch to analogue.

That would be great but it won't reach.
From what I understand, your TV can either be digital or analogue, you'll need to switch as and when it's needed.
So in my case, the TV was always on digital.
