DSTV sport streaming quality poor

I sometimes stream on my laptop and the quality is horrible. Anyone experience the same? The quality on the app is way better than on desktop. I set the quality to 1080p on my browser but its nowhere near that.

Supersport / Dstv have now decided to delay the feed for around 3 minutes in order to fix their very poor buffering issues. Why they thought they could upgrade to 1080 streaming is beyond me, they were struggling at 720. I often whatsapp my mates during live sport and noticed last night during the Wales/Finland game when my mate messaged me about their first goal....waited 3 minutes to see it. Then today was watching Brad Binder in Moto practice, my mate in US sent me a screen shot of the final times, when I put channel 215 on it was still 3 minutes to go in the practice. "Almost live" should be their new motto.

As a DStv apologist, this is sobering stuff.

Unfortunately, yeah, it is frustrating. I have access to DSTV but a few times have had to use "other streams" which were sometimes redirects to DSTV and worked faster.

The frame rate on sports is 30fps which is horrible. The judder is a complete mess. Not as noticeable on a phone screen but on a big screen it is horrible
