DStv sport is unbeatable

DStv's top-end streaming-only plan is currently priced at R799 per month, R130 cheaper than its regular satellite package.
 
Didn't read article fully but i saw foreign currency so came here to say you can't compare foreign money and our Monopoly money, once you convert anything its blown out proportion

Was more saying our purchasing power is much weaker than people with real economies. R699 isn't cheap for most but for example 20 pounds might be reasonable for people living in the UK whereas 20 pounds for us is a big chunk of change...

e.g. They pay 5 pounds for a coffee we pay R40 its R114 vs R40 so are we "winning" there too?
 
Do staff members at MyBB HQ get free DSTV every month for all these articles praising DSTV every week?

Indeed. It's just a pity that they don't have a dedicated sports package at a reduced rate and instead bundle a lot of schit with it and charge top dollar.

How the hell have DStv managed to keep their head buried in the ground for so long about this? It's truly remarkable.

In SA
There is only Rugby and Cricket where we have any chance of a win.
Every 4 years perhaps Olympics.

We dont care what other countries are paying.
We earn rands so another useless comparison.

A pizza in the UK is 20 pounds .
R500 for a pizza.

Makes no sense because we earn RANDS.

Charging customers more for something you acquired at a lower cost: that's unbeatable.
 
We should compare the number of Big Macs it takes to get all sport in the UK vs SA.
