Friends of mine. If they click Play on a program the screen goes black, sometimes the 3 please wait dots, sometimes not, and after about 15 seconds it goes back to the home screen.

I checked, their download speed is 4.8Mbps.

Apparently an internet outage issue

Apparently DSTV Useless are incapable of getting their "people" to route around the problem.
Unfortunately you are 100% right as none of my other internet activity has been affected by this so called outage.

since i did the app update on friday to 5.2.0 i keep getting a speed that says interspeed is below 3mpbs and doesnt play anything

DSTV Now app is never short of bugs. Every time there is an update, they fix 1 bug and introduce 2 more.

Hi How are you able to stream BBC iPlayer - TvMucho is no longer available.

Via my Fire TV 4K MAX stick ...

Which, has a UK Amazon account, a UK Gmail address, which is connected to my MikroTik router, which runs ControlD.

ControlD is currently not working for ITVX :(

An Android TV / Google TV device does not need the Amazon account, just the e-mail address. Works similarly for US Peacock, just a US gmail account instead of a UK one. Also via ControlD or a VPN.

How do you set up accounts outside our boarders ?

Via a VPN, VPN to UK/US create an e-mail account for streaming from that location.

Google seems to location tag, the e-mail address. And it seems that streaming services, check the location tag, for the e-mail address.

I use different devices for each location. I believe you can use one device, as you can have multiple e-mail addresses on one device. Then you should be able to log into the account, for the country you want to stream from, use your DNS proxy or VPN set to the required location log into your streaming app.

Still happening for live tv on pc but catch up does play ????

Unable to stream Dstv on my LG Smart tv for a week now. On my laptop it works but not my tv. Even tried on somebody else's LG and no success. Customer service unable to assist. Beginning to understand why pirate viewing is becoming popular!

My parents that stream haven't been able to do a "Live TV" stream since 16th March. I've already checked everything on their computer and cleared that needed to be cleared. Different browsers, etc. Nothing works.

Same here on Chrome and Edge - its been like that for weeks now !!!

The newest version seems fixed. Can jump back 10 mins.. Android.. Version 5.0.5. Also on my Hiaense (VIDAA) version I can finally jump back 10 mins on ALL channels. Finally time to retire the PVR (except for recordings)..

Now if they can just fix the option of easily "scrolling other channels" without losing the live view. I use mobile device TV guide to "plan" where to jump to...
