dstv.stream down for all browsers?

Day 6 and still not working on most of my access. How many customers are you bleeding this time Multichoice?

Meanwhile, in neighbouring countries a number of their channels continue not to work after about a MONTH of that other krap!
Useless

Good thing you do not pay for that crap, right?

That package is just R29 pm , lol

But I'm sure many are demanding a credit, for all of this mess!

If I had a subscription, I would be asking for a refund. Not because, rhw amount is significant. Nut becsuse I could probably get them to spend significantly more money than the refund, to process it.

Has anyone with Windows still got problems?

I'm starting to think it may be more Linux related again (but it does then mostly work on Firefox).

Revenge?
Nah, I learnt that doesn't work for me a long time ago, better things to do with my time.

Revenge - no. Basically to prove a point. But ultimately I don't think it registers with them. Stupidity abounds. So I am probably wasting my time.

100%. Their forum was a good example, almost nothing brought to the managers' attention got sorted out.

But there is some hope now - Canal+ will be firing some of them so they have to improve.
Question is though, why would you care as a non-subscriber?

I said, if I was a subscriber - I would have pushed for the credit. Just to put them out a sum, that is substantially more than the sum being claimed.

But I doudt, that it would register, that there are costs involved for making a ****up. Over and beyond, the direct cost of the bugger up, itself.

I stream using the DSTV Stream app on my Android phone, via Chromecast connected to my SmartTV and house wifi. Some of the Kyknet catchup videos (Koppieteefontein) refuse to playback (the app throws an error), whilst other videos play back fine.

Was signed out of two Android TV devices at separate locations sharing one DStv account.

Trying to sign in again gave a password error. Reset it to exactly the same password again, and working once again.

First thought was/is MultiChoice employees hacking it for some gain.

Thoughts?

Glitch?

Doudt Multichoice hacking for any gain. Normal DSTV incompetence, stupidity are more likely.

So, some improvements to this wide problem.

Heads-up: @Dean

My Ubuntu Firefox access now takes me straight to where I last was again; Live TV, All Channels
It now allows me to rewind content to the beginning of a show.
BTW, quality is about the worst I've ever seen today.

My Ubuntu Opera & Chrome - now wants to try play content, but still fails

What say, should we give them another 4 months, 4 years maybe?
(Don't tag me plz, no longer care)
