DSTV Stream

Suppose to only be showing 5 characters, so maybe the size of the display isn't compatible maybe?
I use an Android Mibox and have options to change the screen size or scaling, I'd try fiddle around there.
 
OK, I got this issue sorted out!
However, I can only get DSTV stream on my phone (samsung)by using data! It will not connect using wifi.
Don't have a problem with wifi on any other apps.

first of all, how did you sort out the problem?

Secondly, do you mean it only works with MOBILE data and not wifi?
 
Firstly, cleared the cache in the app on the TV and restarted the app. It then opened and I got a code that enabled me to connect.
Secondly, it only works with mobile data on the phone and not wifi! Probably something in the settings on the phone, but I will tackle that at a later stage!
 
I have the exact same issue. Works on mobile data but not wifi. Did you manage to resolve this?
 
This was all some time ago, so not sure exactly what I did! However, I remember that there were 3 apps on my phone that I was having issues with, one of them being DSTV.
I deactivated IPv6 connection on my router and rebooted it. I also restarted my phone and the problem was solved!
I don't know if this makes any sense, but it worked for me.
I am still not able to connect IPv6 on my router, but my ISP is working on it to sort it out!
I hope you get sorted out.
 
Can someone please tell me if the DSTV Stream app on LG TVs is updated to support the newest features e.g. Start to Watch from Start" and basic PVR functionality. These features are now available on my Samsung TV app and IOS apps for many weeks, but not on LG TV. I have a fairly new LG, and it is up-to-date.
