Is there any way to get the DSTV streaming working on an Android? DSTV seem to use an Adobe Flash Player implementation. Any suggestions?

I played around a bit with the native browser and that actually works as well.

I tried with the native browser on my S2 and it doesn't work, despite changing the user-agent string. Somehow, SS website still detects it as a phone.
Anyway, I've passively been looking for a browser that can do this (not even Dolphin works), so I'm quite keen to see how this works.
PS: Is there any way to do this on an iPad? (it doesn't have flash).

Turn off mobile view in the browser settings.

Install Adobe Flash player for android 4.0.4 and try Firefox browser

download boat browser. in boat browser settings set agent to desktop. somewhere else in boat browser settings make sure that flash is enabled.

google adobe flash archive and scroll down to archived android apks. download the most recent archived apk. install.

flash is no longer supported on android 4.1 upwards. not many android borwsers support flash any more. boat browser does, and it also has an excellent desktop mode.

This setup no longer works. Been trying on phone and tablet to no avail. Tried too many browsers to mention...
