Is there any reason why the switch can't be put in the ceiling?
I can't get all the cables down a wall conduit.

Forgot to mention it will be the Explorer switch.

No, you can do it (do you mean the switch for the LNB?)

Nice part is only one cable to your decoder!

Yes, the LNB switch.
It is a sealed unit, so should be alright.

My switch is 15m away in yorkbox outside, no issues for a year, it gets it power from the pvr, so work easy
