DStv - two people can streaming DStv simultaneously?

Hi all

Just read that DStv now allows two people to stream at once.


I've only used DStv Now for my own use, never gave the password out to other members of my own household, but only found out recently that Multichoice increased the limit.

Just want to check before I hand over access, that this is at no extra cost. I read something about purchasing additional mobile streams, so am just confused..

Yes, we allow you to link up to 2 mobile streams to your subscription. Pricing for the additional mobile streams is based on your package.

This allows 3 people to stream on your subscription at the same time, 2 of which can only be on mobile devices.

Note, all users need to be logged in with the same details.

How many people can stream DStv on my subscription at the same time?
It depends on how many viewers (mobile streams*) you have linked to your subscription.

• If you have not added any mobile streams, you can stream on 1 device at a time – with no restrictions on which device you use.
• If you have added 1 mobile stream, 2 people can stream at the same time (1 stream must be on a mobile device)
• If you have added 2 mobile streams, 3 people can stream at the same time (2 streams must be on mobile devices)

Note, all users need to be logged in with the same details.

*Mobile streams are charged monthly. Pricing differs per package. Not available on EasyView.

How do I add a mobile stream to my subscription?
Use self service on WhatsApp - save our number in your contacts (060 060 3788), type in Stream and follow the steps. The mobile stream will be active within 5 minutes of being added to your subscription.

Note :

• If you have multiple subscriptions, select the subscription you want to add the mobile streams to.
• You can only add mobile streams to active subscriptions.
• You can add up to a maximum of 2 mobile streams per subscription.
