DSTV volume query?

Hey guys,

Whenever I switch onto Discovery channel the volume increases! I can be watching all other channels with the volume on low but as soon as I switch to 250 the volume goes up to the same level every time.

Now my query is whether there is a way to auto set the volume for individual channels and I have accidentally done it?

Thanks

AFAIK, no way to auto level the volume or set volume for specific channels.

If you use the DStv remote and change the volume slider to about half way and change to Discovery, the slider goes back to full?

You can change the settings.

Go to settings
TV settings
Pin 9949
go to channel
Change volume settings.

This might I say again might differ per model

Thanks, guys!

Now the next question is how the hell it was set in the first place! We do often find the 16 month old with the remote in her hand and all sorts of things showing on the screen but surely she could not coincidentally have got all those key presses right?!?!?! ;)

Going to see if I can change it back now...

If you set the volume and it is still displaying it on screen and you then press OK it set that volume as default for that channel, I have noticed. So if its high in some channel then just set it lower and press OK (button in middle of navigation buttons) when volume slider still on screen.

Wow. Thought its just a glitch. MM1 is always muted automatically here.

Thanks feo for link.

Yip, I found that out last night too. Just wish we could find a way to get rid of these set volumes and get the channel to just keep the volume of the channel you came from!

I also fiddled around and changed the colour scheme :D ...but damn they have got some ugly options.
