Openview smashes DStv, StarSat in affordability comparison

Openview and StarSat are much cheaper than even DStv's lower-tier packages, a MyBroadband analysis shows.

However, the relative value of these services to subscribers will depend on the content they are interested in.

I don't have dstv or starsat but I am totally frustrated with Openview. All they show are repeats of movies, series and reality shows. I've hardly seen a series go beyond S2 and then repeated incessantly. There has not been a blockbuster premiere in years.

We have a senior member in the family who only wants to watch 1 channel, Zee TV.
The Indian bouquet (R270) is not a stand-alone package, it's an add-on. So we have to pay an extra R129, soon to be R139 for just 1 channel.

Any suggestions on cheaper options ?
