DSTV Walka and TV Licence Requirement.

I want to order a DSTV Walka for someone who has DSTV Premium from Kalahari. I see they need me to provide them with a copy of my ID and TV Licence. Will this in any way affect the registration process for the person I'm purchasing the device for?

I have no problem providing my ID and TV licence, provided that it won't cause the Walka to be registered in my name.

it won't be registered under your name but the device serial will be registered under your tv license.

Lets say you have 1 tv set now registered under your name you will now have another tv set with the walka under.your tv license. If you sale your tv and inform sabc supply relevant documentation of.the person who bought your tv with their ID and tvlicense you won'tbe able.to cancel.your tv license cause you still have the Walka on your TV license
