Hi people I have problem and would if there might be more people with similar problems or a solution.I have a HD pvr and sd pvr where 2 tv's are connected to and at any given time the sd pvr's remotes would just become unresponsive .It would get picked up by the decoder.Light flash on panel when button is pressed, but nothing happens.Only solution is to reset the decoder and it will work again for a while.

My brother also has a sd pvr and he says his one does the same ,however only weekends and especially December.Mine only started a couple of weeks ago although much more frequent.

Phoned support twice, even took it in to N1 Branch ,No Luck. They blame the installation even though the installers is accredited by them and it was working fine before.

Decoders freeze. It's really a question of how often. A couple of times a week is just par for the course. Couple of times a day and I'd insist that they replace the decoder.

2 Maybe 3 times a day, just heard an interesting theory though,by a guy from Zacspeed.
He say it is because of the channel move in October and multichoice is messing with the signal.
Took it in and they said it is fine after they tested it.

The incoming signal cannot influence your remote's responsiveness. It's more likely to be a software or hardware issue.

That and connecting a decoder to an installation for a couple of minutes is hardly testing it. You do the exact same thing when you reboot it.

This guy from Zakspeed probably has some interesting theories about aliens too.

It is definately software or hardware problem ,the remote sends the command to the pvr and you can see the light on the display ,but nothing happens.Even the the buttons on the pvr itself dont respond.

What he meant (I think ) was that the channel frequencies is being messed around by monochoice ,it buggers with the firmware.
