Maybe the parents are confident in the abilities of the remedy, which puts them at ease before bedtime which puts the child at ease, resulting in the child going to sleep easier...? I mean you know that if you posted this on facebook there would be hundreds of moms swearing by the stuff, so there must be something happening. But I guarantee it has nothing to do with the sleep drops, and more with some sort of behavioural change

Not so much, although your theory of it calming the parents down is very valid.

My first thought was why bother, a shot of whiskey in the last bottle of the night always worked for my kids. And then I realised that wasn't very PC. but those homeopathic drops have a very high alcohol content base, and that may very well be the active ingredient that works?
