dual boot + restore from hdd

Hi i was hopping someone can point me in the right direction to do the following.. pref with freeware software(cause i will only do this once)

1. Restore O/S from Older hdd on to a new hdd with system intact on to an extended partition.
2. Allow dual boot on system for the old O/S since new one has vista pre-installed and I don't want to remove it as its gonna be used eventually.
Old o/s is windows xp pro.. new Vista business

oh and i need to do the clone/image over a network

oh why dont you create a new folder when instaslling windows,name your folder winny.you will even get 2 choices at start up,thats if you got everything right.
