I am interested in the AXXESS 626 offering.

I currently have an ADSL 512 connection with Telkom internet as my ISP with a 3gig cap, which always runs out. I use a Linksys wireless router to distribute signal around my premises. My question is can I use the Axxess service after hours and the telkom service over working hours? Can the switch occur automatically?

In my limited knowledge I would put the router into "half-bridge" mode and put the Telkom settings into the router as the default. Then create a PPPoE connection on the desktops for the Axxess settings. There must be a way you can automate the dial-up to take place in the evenings and disconnect in the mornings.

Windows 95 used to have a tool called the Dial-up Scripting Tool... Not sure what the modern equivalent is.

Which Linksys unit do you have? If it's one of the units that can run DD-WRT then you could quite easily do the PPPOE connections from within the Linksys and set it to switch the account for you via a cron command.

Ok I will check when i get back to the crib
