dual lcd's vs 1 22" wide lcd.

Am running a 2year old aopen 17" lcd screen now i was thinking about buying me 22"wide screen lcd.
The only problem is my 17" is then just going to sit somewhere and build dust up and if i sell it am not really going to get anything for it.

So I was wondering if it would be better only to go buy another 17" screen lcd I know for a fact it will be cheaper.And then run dual screens rather then one 22" wide screen.Is there anyone that had any experience with dual Lcd's screens and gaming is it better then having one wide screen???

I have a 22" and it rawks... dual screens are good if you, say, work on 3ds max on 1 screen while reading the helpfile/tutorial on the other...

I the end i'd say get the 22", and you can still run dual screen if you need to!

I would vote for the 1 x 22" as well.

It is gonna seem huge compared to the 17".

You can still run the 22" and 17" as dual screen if you need to, then save up some cash, sell the 17" and get another matching 22"

I faced a similar decision not long ago. The 22" s are awesome, and are probably the best value for money. Movies look great on them too. I managed to pawn a 19" off my mate for cheap, so im running a 17 and a 19. Remember, if workspace is what you are after, then the 1680 width of a 22 falls short of 1280 x 2 = 2560 that you can get with two 17s or 19s. Or better yet, get the 22 and keep the 17 and run dual screens. You can keep all your crap, like winamp or chat windows on the 17 while you work fullscreen on the 22.

Yip, what most of them said. I run a 22" as my main screen, with a 19" to the right side, at an angle.

This is probably the best route to take, you will have best of both worlds.
