Dual sim on Contract

Hi

Do Vodacom offer you to get a dual sim with the same number so that the sim can be used in two devices (even if it is only one device on at a time). What is the cost if so?

Twin Call - Free per month. Only one sim can be used at a time.
Data Sim - About R10.00 per month per sim up to 4 sims per line. All sims can be used at the same time. Data Sims are for data only. No voice. Not available on prepaid or top up.

Should be same as a sim swop...bout 60 bucks or so. Not sure...dont work in a retail store no more and have not for a very long time.

Yes....the R97.00 fee is a standard charge on new sim activations (except for sim swops and prepaid)...is once off and gets charged to your Vodacom account. Sorry...have not done a twin call sim in ages. Forgot about the activation fee.

My wife has Twin Call. Second SIM does have a different number, but is connected to Primary SIM.

Yes...if you call from that sim it will show a "dummy" number. When people call your normal number which ever sim is currently on. or the one that was switched on last will ring.
