Hi guys,

I'm looking for a dual sim smart phone.
I did some research online and the Sony Experia Z3 seems right up my alley.

My question is , is this dual sim version available locally and if not what other phone do you recommend?

Very few dual sim phones are available locally... The best one would be the Huawei Mate 7. If that's not good for you, look at importing what you want

Quite a few actually. Have a look on takealot.com They have a Doogee (maybe their housebrand?) for about R900 & you can google for a R100 voucher. A great phone, amazing value. We have a few of these at home, very similat to the now discontinued Gobii from Kalahari!

I second the Huawei Mate 7 dual sim version , I have one and it really is one of the best all round devices I have had to date , dual sim , 3gb Ram , premium build quality and an insanely good battery life .

It does have a different take on android (vs the norm and Samsung etc) , but its a quick learning curve and is actually not bad at all as it gives you alot of customisable options straight out of the box without the need to root or download another launcher etc etc .

Not to sure what the cash price is of the dual sim version though as I got mine on Contract . As for as Specs etc , from what I have seen (and what is available locally from the networks) the Huawei Mate 7 is about as good as it gets . Cell C seem to have the most variety when it comes to Dual Sim devices , not sure if Vodacom even stock any dual sim devices currently .

After a quick search Cell C seem to have the following Dual Sim devices :
Huawei Mate 7
Samsung J100
Lumia 532
Lumia 535
Lumia 730
Lumia 640
Sony E4
Sony C3

So there seems to be a bit of a variety .
