Patience is rewarded.

I have managed to locate a "Mozart Tx" (at a reasonable price), I had to settle for the VE1000BWS model, but still I have it.

My intention is for this chassis to house both my gaming rig and my media server/NAS.

My problem comes in with getting the correct OS for my nas/media server to run.

Previously I used the RC1 of windows homes server for my nas/media server configuration.

The idea now is for me to migrate to a linux + fuppes (free media server) + Webmin combination for that component of my system.

What I require is inputs regarding the flavour of linux that I can use for this, in light of my total lack of knowledge regarding linux.

The functions that will need it to fulfill is as follows :

Dedicated Torrentbox,
Backup and storage,
Media playback,
I will use FUPPES to serve all the media to my 360 and ps3.

Webmin will be used to administer and interface the NAS most instances.

I can recomend Ubuntu... easiest linux I have worked on.. and based on the sturdy debian

What programs would one use in Ubuntu to backup data from my other windows based systems.

Apart from the gaming rig (running xp) built in the Mozart Case along with the NAS, I would also require backups of my other two laptops - 1 running xp and the other vista Ulti.

Another request anyone know where I can track down a mini itx (all in one mobo) I have a via pc2500-e was under the impression it was a mini-itx mobo, only to find it was a micro at board.

Desperately seeking this.
