Now that I have upgraded to a Sony Entertainment System and LCD I am wanting to get the best possible sound and video setup possible
Obviously first prize is to replace by dual view decoder with a HD PVR decoder but I dont quite have the funds for that now so that will have to wait
So in the interim what are my best options?
From what I have read using the SCART port on the back of the decoder is the best option. I can then get a SCART to S-Video adaptor and connect my DSTV to my amp via S-Video. A SCART to Component adaptor would be great but I cant seem to find one of these
I see that the DSTV also has a digital audio out port. I have connected this to my amp's digital audio in port but don't seem to get sound. Any ideas? I get sound fine through the composite (red and white) cables
