So I bought a PS4 in December and never even played it much however I have the following issues:

The rubber on L3 and R3 is peeling off. This might be because I use to much force not being a regular gamer however at R1000 a controller I expect a better quality product.

The R1 button on 1 of my controllers are squeaking.

What is my options? New controls after 4 months of hardly playing or should I contact the store I bought it from to see if it would be covered under warranty?

Thanks in advance for your input.

It is a known issue with DS4 controllera. Contact the store and Sony. They will organise a replacement

This is a common issue on certain batches of DS4's unfortunately. PartServe - which covers the warranty in SA for SterKinikor - will directly replace the controller for you with a new one.

Battery life I find quite amazing actually. 9 hours on average on a full charge. Pretty decent that IMHO.

I'd recommend some analog stick covers / protectors. The ORB controller grips are cheap as chips and have good reviews. Or you can go for some GripIT's, KontralFreek covers or GellGrips - which will have to imported.

Thanks so much

I'll get them to fix it first while I wait for some covers
