So I managed to get my PS4 today which I'm pretty chuffed about

I bought a bundle which came with 2 controls - but I only need one, so I'm going to sell. What do these go for generally - R999.00 seems the norm, but checking incase I've missed a few places?

Keep it! It's better to sell a console with two controllers down the line anyway.

No kids, wife etc

And I bought it mainly for online play (ie me)

I kept my Xbox 360 2nd controller thinking the same thing and I don't think I even touched it during all the years I had it. Thought getting rid of it now while it's a day old is probably my best chance

Also got a 2nd controller with mine, 4 months later and I still have not opened it.

Keep second and keep it charged for swopping.

Buy the charge stand while you are at it.

I would keep it. The battery life is bad compared to the PS3 controller.

I still have to play through 5000 PS1/2 games before I can even think about PS3, never mind PS4. And that's only if I don't track down a working Amiga or Commodore 64. That said every single MFing console game I have ever played was MFing rubbish (and when I say rubbish I mean Cape crack whore from the flat "rubbbbissshhhh!") and the ports are even worse.
