You can be racist towards your own people. Racism can have a very broad definition, from self-criticism to full blown cultural/ethnic contempt. The former should not be called racism, but since the word is thrown around wildly, anything or anyone can be racist - including the one who sees racism against his own race, he is racist towards others, ie has prejudice, paranoia, contempt for non-own, bigotry etc....

Shush, black people can't be racist, we all know that!
