I just phoned Telkom to find out if there are any problems at the moment. All I get is a lot of buck passing (call your ISP, have you been capped, etc.) In short they don't know their elbows from their ****holes.

Also, one the www.telkom.co.za/dsl site, there is a new link to 'Bulletin' boards... Pity the link points to http://wblvsindev:6001/dsl/media.jsp which doesn't work.
 
This is my biggest complaint about Telkom. No one seems to know whats going on. Passing the buck is a favourite of theirs. ADSL customers need ONE number to call and whoever answers needs to sort the problem out.

Another favourite saying is "We don't guarentee anything" and "we're not aware of any problems, are you sure its not your hardware" and ooh ooh, my favourite - "We will charge a call out fee"
