Hi,
I recently got a Huawei 3G modem that originated in the UK on the 3 network. Due to the new algorithms not being available at the time(and not knowing they were the solutions) I attempted to unluck the 3g dongle more than 10 times. Subsequently locking the modem.
Not to be defeated no, I searched high and low for an unlocker and found a simple unlocker here (PS: if anyone is looking for any unlcocker from the past into the next 5 years ask me because I have)
It worked but near the end of the flash it crashed. Now my situation is prodigiously worse, its 5am and i have the whole night for nothing to show for it.
How can I recover or resurrect the original e353 firmware. Doing the simple installer and hoping for the best doesnt work. Is it possible to use the QPST toolkit? As luck would have it I have a spare e353 if I need to copy the firmware off of. When plugging the peon'nated 3g stick in im left with it detecting as a plain modem and com port. QPST barely sees it.
Any help or assistance would be appreciated.
