Ok so I bought Dungeon Siege 2 the Deluxe Edition a while back. Loved it. was busy playing itthrough when the Laptop got Stolen with sodding CD 1 in it.

Now What I want to know is does anyone have a copy and would be willing to make me a copy of CD 1 only? still have the rest and my keys / maps / etc.

I just basically need CD 1 of Dungeon Siege 2. Cant even find it for download anywhere.

Sodding thieves. If they had taken the entire thing it would be different, but they only took the laptop and CD 1. bastages

Pretty please if someone can help in the durban area it would be awesome. Was almost finished the original and about to install the expansion.
 
I've got the originals but I'm sure it falls under piracy if I 'give' you a copy, even if you have the original cover.

Also I'm in CPT though :(
 
sigh. anyone have an idea of how i can go about getting the first CD then? dont particularly wanna go out and buy the entire sodding game again just for 1 CD

Might fall under piracy, not sure though. Dont know enough about the laws that apply to say for sure.

Will go through the manual again and see if it has a lost/replacement option in it somewhere
 
They should have a lost cd option at the back on the manual. You normally have to send a few $'s to the publisher. That would take a while as well - otherwise you might have to buy it again. It should be pretty cheap now - its fairly old.
 
just gone to the take2games.com site (its awful) no option there so ive sent them a mail about it and will wait and see what they say.

otherwise i might have to check the news for it. sigh. i swear i will cause mayhem if i ever catch the bastages that nicked my lappy.
 
Copy the cd. You bought the game. You have the licence. This would fall under "Fair use" imo
 
thing is its me asking someone else to copy it and even though I can put up photos of the box etc, it is still me asking someone to take my word that I have a legal copy so Greg is just protecting himself which I understand.
 
Ofcourse. However him copying 1 CD won't enable you to pirate the whole game anyway :P
 
True I suppose. But Greg doesnt want to and I understand that. So I shall await the verdict from T2 games. (man their website sucks. my 9 yr old niece could improve it)

Failing that there is always a torrent download of CD 1. 600 odd MB shouldnt take that long and my cap resets on wednesday anyway :)
 
If you really get stuck I can always upload a copy for you - the problem is there's virtually no free local ftp sites left :(
 
If u buy the delux edition is cd 1 the expansion pac cd or just normal cd 1 ?
 
My one is 6 CD's.

1-4 are the normal DS2 then 5 is the single CD expansion and 6 is the manuals and bonus material (ie movies and artwork)

So I would say its the normal edition CD 1 with the expansion pack in a single box set.

Got mine when Incredible Infection was cleaning out their store at Gateway. Paid a whopping 15 bucks for it :)
 
Maybe it was R150. We'll c if I can sell my PSP by this weekend and if I can find ds2 I could give you a copy at PCZONE.
 
Well since CD 1 was stolen along with the laptop the game was installed on, using a nocd patch wont help me with installing the game on the new laptop.
