Hi all, we bought a secondhand Polo Vivo for my wife two years ago, last year we discovered that for some reason VW has two cars with the exact same registration on their system, one in Durban and one with us in Gauteng. They assured us it was a glitch on their end and I thought nothing of it until now when I started getting notifications that my vehicle has been booked for service in Durban again. So obviously the problem still persists but now I'm worrying if there is more to this than just a glitch? I was assured that my vehicle had not been in any accidents and I bought it from MasterCars to avoid weird k#k like this. Any advice on how to pursue this as VW will just give me a copy paste answer again?

Check the VIN number not the registration.
