The Mirage III Cz (A flying museum piece, and the same airframe that first broke the sound barrier in durban in 1964 from what I can gather.. both being Mirage 800)

I wish I was after yesterday.. but nah.. in reality I'm not...
 
Some very cool shots Bunnyboi ....... some would have been even better if your lens had been clean :p (looks like raindrop dirt)
 
The only bad thing about the day was the weather...

The visability was not great at all.... so I've had to paly with the pics a bit to get some of them to look good...

BUT after not going to the airshow for a few years.. I will make it a yearly pilgrimage now.. along with my camera.... it was such a blast.

I'm still trying to figure that one out actually.. 1 shot would be perfectly clean, then the next 5 would have spots.. then the next 10 would be perfect and so on...

Going to get myself all the correct cleaning toys now.. along with a battery grip.....
 
Break out the rizla's, clean the lens front and back and then test the sensor for dust etc. ;)

Closing the aperture seems to make it particularly visible. That's why it seems to be showing in some whilst not in others.

I am going to be doing just that tomorrow.. :).... as well as just checking everything THOROUGHLY until its all hundreds again...
 
I think PE only has one every two years. :(

BTW TB - PS's healing brush will make quick work of most of those blemishes.
 
bwana : I know.. I have 1200 odd pics... and slowly going through them.. I was just being bugged for photos so those are what I put up in the interim while I fix them up

If it is sensor dust the blemishes should be in the same place for all of them so you should be able to map them out in bulk.

Are you using Lightroom for management?
 
yeah they are roughly all in the same place..

problem being the action in the shots changes.... but I'm gonna filter the stuff thats good from the bad before I start cleaning up over the next few days
 
Ummm, Toxic dude, would I be totally pushing my luck if I said that it's been a whole day now and we haven't seen any new pics...yet :D
