Hey Broadband people,
I was telling a friend about this forum and how much help its been to me over the years, Although I know its more IT related then Architecture, I was wondering if there might be anyone able to give my friend advice.
Here is the story :
I am currently working as a Candidate Architect in Durban. I graduated Masters cum laude.
I will be writing my professional practice exams in 2018.
For the past +/- 2 years, I have been earning the same salary – the company I work for claims to pay the industry average for someone in my position in Durban.
But I am genuinely battling to make ends meet, and am starting to feel I am being under-paid.
This is proving to be particularly frustrating, bearing in my mind the years of study this degree required, and the student debt i have accumulated.
Could anyone provide some information regarding the salary norms for someone in my position in Durban? Does anyone have any suggestions regarding companies in Durban I could consider applying to?
