Hi ppl

I've been reading the progress of the few that have MyWireless for a while now, and I have to say that it looks like when ppl finally get connected - the service kicks ass.
My problem is despite drooling over the prospect of permanent connectivity, I cant afford - or do justice to - the connection by myself. So, if anyone in Durbs is looking to share a connection, let me know, maybe I'll live close enough to make it happen...I've learned a few tricks with cantennae ;)

And yes I know already about the ICASA rules regarding wireless networks...so dont give me the riot act. They aren't gonna change anything on that side anytime soon (too much cash to be made by Hellkom), so I'll take pleasure in screwing them any way I can... ;)

BTW if this post is going to cause issues for the forum as a whole, let me know and I'll drop it - this forum rocks :)

** How can Telkom claim to "Touch Tomorrow" when it can barely touch yesterday?
Because they're a BIG, GREEDY, MONOPOLY intent on keeping South Africa in the stone age.
Telkom how about you touch this ..|. **

I doubt you need to delete your post. This is a open forum. As long as you dont swear or defame anyone, Im sure healthy comment is OK.
Where else can you vent your feelings. Telkom apparently arent listening.
IMO, Go For It.

Great Idea - I would like to "share" with you - but my area is only coming online in Phase 3 October 2004!! (Seaview/Bellair/Hillary)

I'm on the Bluff, so my area goes operational today ;) Seaview isnt too far away, problem is I'm inside the valley so LOS is an issue :(

On this whole sharing connectivity thing, check out this:
http://www.pbs.org/cringely/pulpit/pulpit20010628.html - it shows how freely people in the US can truly exploit communication technology...
