The posters living in Durban: what is your weather like at the moment?

Coming to your shores in the next few days and the extended weather forecast for Durban looks chilly. I do not go to Durban very often, so is 21 degrees In Durban really the same as 21 up here in JHB? Cos right now, it's cold up here!
 
It's fairly chilly when not in the sun, but it never feels as cold as JHB in the winter.... I think you should be fine if coming from a JHB winter!
 
Plus - when we're chilly, everyone used to colder weather thinks it's amazingly warm .....
 
As long as the sun is shining & little wind it's baggies & t-shirt weather, can get a bit nippy at night for which a jersey/jacket will suffice. It's nothing like JHB though, you will like it.

There are however times where it gets miserable and reminds me CT.

Best??? Not even close. Its horribly hot and muggy in summer and then it rains for days on end. Winter is awesome and spring and autumn are fine but Durban summers are the worst.

Agreed. Can't stand the humidity in summer.

Humidity is bleh... JHB has the best weather in the world.
Just f-all to do though.
 
There's no winter in Durban, just breezy evenings when the rest of the country is having winter.
 
sorry i am freezing. i feel the cold badly so i have 3 layers of clothes on. don't even want to know what jhb cold is.
 
i am in durban. i just feel the cold so much, i freeze when the slightest breeze blows. lol
