Did anyone else experience some slow browsing/streaming/http downloads/p2p speeds this weekend in the durbs?

The only thing that worked fine by me this weekend was great pings on BF3.

Wasnt too bad for me although its the reason I am here now - throughput has dropped down to under 100Kbps on normal HTTP downloads

Wasn't just you. Line died just after midnight, but working again this morning.

Same here - missed around 13gb on Download Plus this morning. . Line went at around 12:15 and came on somewhere between 05:00 and 06:00 if I look on the WebAfrica connectivity logs...

I'm on 10 now. Think VDSL will be available soon.

Update: Rebooted router and did a tracert to afrihost.com and seems the problem is in the hands of Emtpy-N again, 420ms on avg

Ah nice! I suspect there is an MSAN behind my complex... been here a while, just not sure if it's hooked up yet. See Telkom here every couple of days working on it. Only seen it in passing though, so maybe it's just a newer box and not a sign of VDSL.

Ja got similar issues here - across a few of the ISP's I tested. Been having problems the last 2 hours or so. Not cool.

yep, om on TI 4mb and lagging like mad on dota, was fine whole day, checked tracert and no indication that my exchange is congested

.......sigh
