DVB-T via incar DVD/GPS system

Hi there everyone,

I'm thinking of buying an after-market DVD/GPS system for my car. It has a DVB-T as extra option available, but I'm not sure if it would work for our SA market.

Looking towards the experts options regarding this please....

Worth paying extra for this option?

DVB-T is due to be scrapped in favour of DVB-T2. The two are not compatible. So not worth it even if you got it for free

On a related note, anybody want to buy a DVB-T PCI-E tuner card?

Edit: On second thoughts, if you plan to only drive the car for say, two years, it might be worth it. The useless ICASA idiots will probably take that long just to get started with the new standard
