Hi

I made a copy of some data and the dvd is scratched a little bit, really only fine lines on the surface. Only on one side as big as an 5c coin.

Now when I enter the dvd, the pc slows down and doesn't want to copy.

Is there a way to recover the data? :o

Thanks teraside will have a look.

On google they say something about my dvd player reading at a slower speed. Where can I fix or change this?

They don't say anything about my DVD player :D ;) :p

I don't really know dude ;)

Anyways Dawie, after you've done that, head down to www.samsung.com

Look for the support area, to download drivers or firmware. Click the links to go to your model DVD rom/writer and download the latest firmware.

Read the readme file, extract all the files to your desktop and apply the firmware, restart your pc,

That's all I can think of ;)
