I'm looking to purchase a SATA DVD RW Dual Layer with Lightscibe.

Found this Asus DRW-1814BLT LightScribe Super-multi DVD Writer - Black but reviews on the net haven't been that great.

Can anybody recommend one for under R400

I have never had any problems with LG writers, but Samsung writers sometimes does not want to read disks made on other brand writers.

Infortunately there aren't many SATA DVD-RW out there az yet so your choice is very limited i also ordered this Asus DVD-RW yesterday i'm still waiting for take2 to ship it i'm not impressed at all with my LG Super-Multi most of the time it write slow or can't read discs.

My favourite brand is LG ... but I haven't seen anything in SATA ... Samsung makes SATA, but I wouldn't advise samsung ... Asus is a good brand and I haven't heard any bad things bout the drive.
