DVI-D to VGA AMD Radeon HD6450 Problem

Any suggestions? Is this possible?

We have a ASUS AMD Radeon HD6450 2048MB DDR3 HDMI DVI-D DSUB card and would like to use a DVI to VGA converter. However all the converters we could find, does not work.

That sux that it is a DVI-D (digital only) output! This means that you won't just be able to convert the DVI to VGA without an active (and expensive) converter.

I think I might rather change the screen.

That worked beautifully when converting my PS3's HDMI to connect to an old VGA monitor (service was excellent as well). Maybe your card has HDMI? Otherwise get a DVI to HDMI convertor or something along those lines.

Sorry I see you do mention it has HDMI.
