My PC at work only has VGA and my screen DVI - so I used to have a converter for my screen. The guy at work was moving my PC and broke this adapter - so I need a new one.

However everyone I've found so far is VGA > DVI (not the same - I need pins to plug it into the PC) and none the other way. The guy said those adapters are hard to come by - but said I could by the VGA > DVA and a seperate VGA cable to get it to work.

Thing is that's R250.00 - and in that case, I'd rather get a cheap video card with DVI.

What's the cheapest card out there with DVI? Anyone got a used one lying around they're selling?-

Most screens I've come across have botha DVI and VGA plug on them. Have a look at your screen where the cables plug in. You might just need to get a VGA > VGA cable and not use the DVI cable at all.

Double checked - only power and the DVI out :(

that is weird. What kind of screen is it?

Matrix have a DVI female to VGA female double converter. I know cos I bought one.

Anyone know pricing of the 7300gs?

yeah i had the same situation recently... it's a total nightmare to find dvi-vga converter.
