Dying External...

Hi every one,

So my friend left her external hard drive with me because it was acting oddly (slow, unresponsive)

HD Sentinel reported this while it was being scanned.



Any way of fixing it a little bit?

She says she has dropped it a couple of times.

Yeah saving the data is pretty much the only thing you can do/attempt.

I had the same thing a few weeks ago. RMA'd my drive with no issues.

She would probably also be 'acting oddly' if she was dropped on her head a couple times. Try back up what you can, and forget about what the drive struggles to read.
