Dying Samsung 2232GW

I bought a 2232GW in February of this year. Last weekend it strated acting up. When the machine boots, the monitor would flash on/off for about a minute until it stablises. This morning it emited it's last bit of light. It just goes to black now...

Has anyone had a similair experience on of these monitors (or maybe any other lcd) ??

My monitor is flashing everytime windows go into power save mode and sometimes when i turn the pc on, goes back to normal though.

Hope mine does not die.

Your monitor is still under warranty right?

Should be covered by a 3 year warranty.

Yep, it's still under waranty. I am taking it in tomorrow, but still, the effort I have to go thru for something that did not even last a 3rd of the lifespan i was hopnig for. lol

Yeah, sucks.

One of the few, if not only times I have heard of a 2232GW acting up like this.

Right, arranged for the monitor to be delivered to Computer Repair Technologies in Sandton tomorrow morning. (Authorised Samsung Waranty Repair).

So, I guess it's 1024x768 CRT gaming for me for a little while. *cringe*
